From The Guardian's OTT Goldfrapp coverage, via [livejournal.com profile] freakytigger, something I wish I'd never read:

As far as mood music goes, though, [Conor] McNicholas [NME editor] has his own favourite. "I think Nirvana's Nevermind is the greatest shagging album because it's got loads of quiet/loud moments and pent-up feelings," he said. "But you have to be careful you don't sing along - especially that line 'Love myself better than you'."

I know some of you have seen this already, but I feel the need to share the pain as widely as possible. As I commented in reply to[livejournal.com profile] alexmacpherson's post, the thought of Conor McNicholas gurning in ecstasy to the quiet/loud while unleashing his 'pent-up feelings' has totally put me off my camembert.
