As most of you probably know by now, I'm going to find out today whether my job is moving to the depths of Berkshire or just plain evaporating. I was hoping for the latter, the thought of having to commute to bloody Maidenhead every day not being a happy one. Things have changed a bit in the last 24 hours.

I got a voice message at half three yesterday, which I somehow failed to notice until I got home. It was from the estate agents who manage my flat, concerning a potential viewing at 6pm today. Given that my contract doesn't run out until the end of May, I can only assume that they're selling it from under me. This wouldn't usually be a problem, only getting a flat when you're jobless is nigh on impossible.

I need a drink.

Update: I still have a job, so immediate panic over. Still could do with some booze mind.
