You do not need a polling card to vote in any UK election.

All the polling card does is tell you when and where to vote and helpfully list your details as they appear on the electoral register. So, if you've got one, it can make the process a little quicker but that's it. If you haven't, don't worry - if you are on the electoral register, you can still vote.

that website is APPALLING though - was infuriated by it yesterday, tried to find my polling station but it told me that my postcode was wrong or wasn't a residential address.

yeah that website's hard to use and slow and it directs me at hackney's, which is equally uninformative -- i did get a response from the text number it suggests (it requested flat number and postcode), and am awaiting response to that

none so far!

It is - this morning it kept breaking in a "sorry, can't serve that page" kind of way.
