I've seen some terrible graphs in my time, but this is just ridiculous.

In a similar spirit of 'Oh God why must such weapons be put in the hands of the foolish', here are some more graphs (http://www.flickr.com/photos/7855449@N02/sets/72157606844282993/) (as passed to me by Mr [livejournal.com profile] infov0re).

"flashturbation" on the "wheel of marketing misfortune".

Also I would not agree at all with their contention that genius is the overlap of "manic" and "depression".

You are a genius.

The OMG-WTF Spectrum (http://www.flickr.com/photos/7855449@N02/3158864420/in/set-72157606844282993/) is just perfect for this, I think.

I also like the social experience one - "The Basics (often broken)" - hee!

I think I may have to show this to A. later, so he can steal them for presentations and run a sweepstake on how long it takes people to notice...

Sure, but the OMG-WTF Spectrum can hardly help being a *bit* comedic, right? I mean, come on. Inherently funny.

(I was disappointed when I looked at them for that reason at first, until I realised that actually made it more amusing.)

yes i think some of them are "ho ho, us social media types can rly laff at ourselves, eh", rather than funny per se, although the OMGWTF one is teh funneh, yes.

Oh *that* tee-hee-self-aware stuff is rather painful. And eye-gouging. It's the accidental bits - I just could NOT help thinking of Fran & The Flipchart ("We're here. We want to be here") when I looked at the Dynamic Signal one. Beyond my control. Not my fault.

Hm, thought: do you think this is Fox Heads On Sticks (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mnVWJpMhuE) territory yet?
