In a similar spirit of 'Oh God why must such weapons be put in the hands of the foolish', here are some more graphs (http://www.flickr.com/photos/7855449@N02/sets/72157606844282993/) (as passed to me by Mr infov0re).
yes i think some of them are "ho ho, us social media types can rly laff at ourselves, eh", rather than funny per se, although the OMGWTF one is teh funneh, yes.
Oh *that* tee-hee-self-aware stuff is rather painful. And eye-gouging. It's the accidental bits - I just could NOT help thinking of Fran & The Flipchart ("We're here. We want to be here") when I looked at the Dynamic Signal one. Beyond my control. Not my fault.
Could people support more than one candidate? If so, the figures may not be wrong - but putting them into a pie chart was an appalling idea. Also the modern tendency to tilt pie graphs to make them 3-D makes the segments at the bottom look larger than equally sized ones at the top, which defeats the whole point of such a chart.
I get the impression the couple in this film would now be following Mr. Armano on Twitter, but sadly I never saw it (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0356721/)
2003 probably not the right year; I mean 'I saw a word loosely connected to films in my head and decided to override the word 'presidential' with that concept.'
*facedesk*
Although obviously not as big a facedesk as the piechart's creator.
Well, I suspect what happened was that everyone polled was asked which candidates they would back, rather than which candidate. So they could pick more than one, which is why the pie chart seems to show 193%, which is why they should have used a bar chart instead.

Also I would not agree at all with their contention that genius is the overlap of "manic" and "depression".

The OMG-WTF Spectrum (http://www.flickr.com/photos/7855449@N02/3158864420/in/set-72157606844282993/) is just perfect for this, I think.
I also like the social experience one - "The Basics (often broken)" - hee!
I think I may have to show this to A. later, so he can steal them for presentations and run a sweepstake on how long it takes people to notice...

(I was disappointed when I looked at them for that reason at first, until I realised that actually made it more amusing.)

Why didn't I heed your warning? I thought I could cope with anything, but that really is the limit!
